All the vocals are recorded and Jouni send us today all 5 songs ready to be released!! Ain't that great or what!?!

I think we still need to do some web-coding and stuff before we'll put all the songs to our website for you to download..But its close, oh man its close!

Today I also released my projects (Amok's therapy group) EP called "The Sessions"...5 progressive instrumental pieces...you can found it here from www.mikseri.net/atg .

Yeah, yesterday we recorded my leads and solos...Everything went pretty smoothly even though I was little tired...'cause of lack of sleep...

So now it's only Jouni's vocals to do..He said that it should take about two days to do that...

This Sunday were about to record my last guitar parts, the leads...Almost all the leads are planned and practiced...almost..but let's see what ideas we'll come up during the day...Maybe I'll get Jouni to do some solos that I'm not capable to play :)

New rehearsal place

Today we 3/5 set up our gear in the new place and began to fiddle with brand new material.
Upcoming 5-song promo recording is doing fine, only lead guitars and vocals left! Expect a finished product maybe before the end of this year, who knows.

Then I have to mention that I finally got Voivod's Nothingface on CD and I'm so happy now!

I had a great time in Stockholm last weekend! Soilwork was awesome!!!! Theyre the best!!!! Also the supporting bands were great, I have to check them out more closely and I recommend that also for everybody!

BLUE1 RULEZ!!

Blue1 has settled disagreements with stewards and I'm on my way to Stocholm this weekend, great! Hope that Soilwork will put up a great show there!

Earlier this year I was stuck in Rome for four extra days 'cause of the volcanic eruption in Iceland..So it seems that I'm not having good luck traveling by plane...But hey, I was in Rome so why all the complaining!!

Yesterday I captured all the video material that we have filmed during the new promo recordings..There are some guitar parts but mainly it's all about Jani's fabulous drum beating. Videos will be released same time the new promo is ready.

Basses wrapped and stewards/stewardess on strike!

Fucking Finnish stewards and stewardess with their strikes!!!! I'm REALLY hoping that my Stockholm trip (and Soilwork gig) wont be cancelled 'cause of those greedy little pigs can't settle their agreements, oink-oink!!!

Im glad that theres still some great news coming up like Timo and Jouni who have been working hard yesterday and announced that all the bass-lines are recorded!

What is that sound? The bass?

Yo dudes!

I've heard that Timo is going to record his bass-lines tonight. After that its either my turn to play the last guitar parts or Jouni's vocals, not sure about the order at the moment. Let's see first how the basses will come up!

Yesterday Jani and I dragged all our instruments to our new rehearsal room, feeling very excited about that!

Let's see if Jouni remembers to take some pics from tonights bass-session.. Hopefully he does so we can add some concentrated pics of Timo here on blog!

I'm also veeery excited about next weekend 'cause I'm heading Stockholm to see Soilwork live!!! Fuuuuck!!!

Rhythm guitars wrapped!

Yesterday we managed to record rest of my rhythm guitars and all Jyrki's stuff. This weekend Timo will do hes magic with the bass! My lead guitars will be recorded during next week and after that there's "only" Jouni's vocals to do. So everything is moving ahead pretty nice! This Friday  I'm heading to Ruka to open my snowboard-season..Hope I wont be too broken to play after three days of ramming into trees of Kuusamo.

Now that the Nuclear-gig is done (and enjoyed), it's time to focus on our next "promostration". Today we'll be recording rest of my rhythm guitars and after that start shredding Jyrki's riffs!

1st guitar-session

Hi all,

Yesterday I managed to play the rhythm guitars to 4/5 songs...then the time went up so we had to schedule the recording for the last song to next week. Then we'll also start recording Jyrki's guitars.

Jouni and hes magic fingers did (again) awesome job adjusting the distortion and tone to right level, to the maximum!

My lead guitar parts will be recorded somewhere in near future... looking forward to that!

Keep your eyes and ears open 'cause the new Clock Paradox demon-stration is on its way!!!

Guitar recordings today!

Hi,

This is my first time writing to this blog, let's see how it goes...

So, today I'm going to record my rhythm guitars and leave the lead parts to near future. This time we're going to do things right and play guitars through real amplifiers :) Not like we did with two earlyer promos (guitars plugged in to Line6 UX1, tones created with GearBox), so hopefully we all can expect some better tunes this time.

Jouni has done some pre-mixing with drumtracks and let me say that the drums are going to sound awesome! Jouni is the man!!!

Few words about the gig we did last weekend. I have to admit that I was a little afraid that no one will come to see us...Ykä, the bar, is located pretty far from the Oulu's centrum so it will take some extra effort to get there..and I have to say that the advertisement was not as intensive that it should had been..But boy was I wrong! The whole Ykä was filled with great looking people, enjoying the gloomy and agressive music, it was sooo great!! Thank you all!!!

Next gig is on this Thursday at Nuclear Nightclub (Oulu), lets see how that one goes.

Drum recordings

Hi!
Today we recorded drums for our 3rd promo. All five songs went just fine - except that we had to lower down the tempo 5% (thanks to my iRiver + Rockbox) for the last one before it went smoothly. We've played one of the tunes live a couple of times. Come to our gigs 13. & 18.11. to hear more new shit!
